Ways to Participate in Baltimore Peace Movement

Go into neighborhoods and talk to people about an upcoming Peace Promise Weekend, give out Peace Movement flyers and posters, and/or put posters and flyers around the community. Do outreach by yourself, or get a group of people to do it with you.

A Peace Promise Ambassador is someone who represents Baltimore Peace Movement on behalf of the Organizing Squad to educate people about Baltimore Peace Movement and upcoming Peace Promise Weekends. Ambassadors can be as young as age 12. We are accepting new Ambassador applications until September 20, 2024. The 2024 Ambassador Training is October 27th @ 10am-6:30pm. To apply, please click here.

For the August 2024 Peace Promise Weekend, posters aren't available yet, but will be soon. We will make a post on our social media pages when they are available for download and pick up. 

Help ensure that Baltimore has enough posters and flyers by giving any amount to our official donation platform. Your donation is tax-deductible. 

Show that you participate in the movement by getting your own Peace Movement apparel. 

Baltimore Peace Promise weekends are about honoring the fact that peace is in all of us, which means peace is promised to all of us. These weekends ask that we all do our best to be peaceful and celebrate life, and that we're all focused on our peace and joy together! 

One way to do this is by planning and hosting an event during a Peace Promise Weekend. You are free to host any kind of event you want, as long as it is a way to celebrate life, whatever that looks like to you. Any events that appear to send negative energy toward any person or group will not be added to the public Baltimore Peace Movement calendar. 

If you'd like your event to be in participation with the November 2024 Peace Promise Weekend, please click "Host Peace Promise Event" on this website, complete the form, and your event will be added to the public Peace Movement calendar.

If you have a life-affirming event in 2024 that is not happening during a Peace Promise Weekend, and you want it to be in participation with the Baltimore Peace Movement, please click here to complete this form and it will be added to the calendar.

 Become an Official Baltimore Peace Promise organization, entity, or community by joining with the movement to build Baltimore Peace Movement culture in your school, spiritual/religious org, neighborhood, or any other kind of community. Find out more HERE
